Tenacity
The stat that shortens crowd control on you — not damage reduction.
Tenacity is control duration reduction: it shortens how long stuns, slows and other crowd control last on you, and does nothing to the damage itself. Item wording splits on it: Brute Force Breastplate calls it Control Duration Reduction and grants 25% at full stacks, while Tough Boots' Fortitude reads "CC and Slow Duration reduced by 25%" — same 25%, same mechanic. The confusion worth clearing up: the emblem talent **named** Tenacity is not this. It grants +15 Physical and Magic Defense below 50% HP, which is mitigation through the defense formula. Same word, different mechanic — if you want to be locked down for less time, you want boots, not that talent.
