Tilt

Playing worse due to frustration, usually after a bad death or a losing streak.

Tilt describes a player's decision-making getting worse because of frustration — overextending after a bad death, forcing fights to 'get back' losses, or blaming teammates instead of adjusting play. It's a purely mental/behavioral term, not a game mechanic, but it has real in-game consequences: a tilted laner is far more likely to feed a second death chasing revenge for the first. Recognizing tilt in yourself, and simply recalling to reset instead of forcing another fight, is often the single biggest rank-climbing skill outside of raw mechanics.
