Wave Clear
The ability to quickly kill a full minion wave with AoE damage.
Wave clear is how fast a hero can kill an entire minion wave, usually via AoE skills rather than single-target basic attacks. Mages like Lylia or Valir clear waves almost instantly, letting them push a lane and rotate to help elsewhere far faster than a hero with only single-target damage. Strong wave clear is also what makes split-pushing viable — a hero who can solo-clear waves keeps pressure on a side lane without needing backup.
