Wave Management
Controlling where a minion wave pushes to set up ganks, farm, or safety.
Wave management is deliberately shaping how a minion wave behaves — pushing it into the enemy turret to threaten a dive, holding it near your own turret for safety, or freezing it in place to bait an overextension. A laner who pushes before rotating leaves the wave crashing into the enemy turret, buying time before they can punish the rotation; a laner under pressure instead lets the wave slow-walk toward their own turret. Poor wave management is one of the most common lane-phase mistakes in ranked.
