Irithel — hero art from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang

Irithel

ATier

Mobile marksman who fires while moving and builds bonus bolts on the run

MarksmanGold LaneDeals physical

Irithel is a gold-lane marksman who can shoot while moving thanks to Jungle Heart, stacking bonus bolts the more she repositions instead of standing still. Heavy Crossbow leaps her into a fight and empowers her bolts to hit a wide area, turning her from a single-target kiter into a burst AoE threat.

Getting real value from Jungle Heart means constantly repositioning while still landing bolts and Strafe on target, which takes practice under pressure.

Strengths

  • Can fire basic attacks while moving, unlike almost every other marksman in the game
  • Jungle Heart rewards constant repositioning with a bonus bolt per basic attack
  • Strafe shreds physical defense, softening tanks for the rest of her team
  • Heavy Crossbow leaps her into range and turns her bolts into an AoE weapon for a burst window

Weaknesses

  • Shorter effective range than most gold-lane marksmen, forcing closer engagements
  • No hard crowd control — Force of the Queen only slows, so she can't lock a target down alone
  • Heavy Crossbow's leap commits her to a fight, which can be punished by a coordinated dive
  • Squishy like any marksman, and any burst that catches her before Jungle Heart stacks up hurts badly

Skills

Max Strafe first for the poke and defense shred, level Force of the Queen for the slow and clear, and take the ultimate whenever it's available.

Jungle Heart

Buff

Irithel and Leo's immaculate teamwork allows her to shoot while moving. Each Basic Attack will shoot 2 crossbow bolt(s) (but takes longer to refill) that deal (+55% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage per bolt (inherits a portion [55%] of Attack Effects). Moving will build up Jungle Heart, up to a maximum of 10 units, and cause the next Basic Attack to unleash 1 additional bolt(s).

Playing Irithel well

  1. 1

Keep moving during trades to build Jungle Heart stacks for the extra bolt rather than standing still

  2. 2

Land Strafe on the frontline before a fight to shred defense for your team's follow-up damage

  3. 3

Save Heavy Crossbow for a fight you can already win — the leap is a commitment, not a poke tool

  4. 4

Use Force of the Queen's slow to peel a diver off you rather than only as engage damage

Irithel — common questions

Is Irithel good for beginners?

She's reasonably approachable since her damage is mostly basic attacks, but getting full value from moving while shooting to stack Jungle Heart takes some hands-on practice.

What is the best build for Irithel?

Windtalker into Berserker's Fury and Malefic Roar covers attack speed, crit, and penetration; swap Malefic Roar for Demon Hunter Sword if the enemy frontline stacks heavy HP and defense.

Which heroes counter Irithel?

Brody, Karina and Fredrinn are the hardest matchups since all three can burst her down before her sustained bolt damage or Jungle Heart stacks matter.

What makes Irithel's passive Jungle Heart different from other marksmen?

It lets her fire basic attacks while moving, which almost no other marksman can do, and builds up to ten stacks the more she repositions, unleashing an extra bolt on her next basic attack once fully stacked.
