Exp-lane duelist who chains unlimited dashes as long as she keeps landing hits
Benedetta is a mobility-first exp-lane fighter-assassin whose passive, Elapsed Daytime, lets her chain dash after dash as long as she keeps landing Basic Attacks in the Swordout state. An Eye for An Eye blocks a full hit or CC before punishing the attacker, and Alecto: Final Blow detonates her stored Sword Intent for a massive finishing burst on a fully-charged combo.
Keeping the passive dash chain alive requires consistently landing hits, and her defensive parry window is easy to mistime.
Max Phantom Slash first for chase and damage, level An Eye for An Eye second for its defensive stun payoff, and take the ultimate at 4, 8 and 12.

Benedetta withdraws swiftly and leaves a shadow in front. After a short delay, her shadow slashes forward in a fan-shaped area, dealing 200–360 (+75% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage and slowing the enemies by 60% for 0.5 seconds. Meanwhile, Benedetta dashes forward to slash, dealing 75–175 (+100% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage. (If the target is hit by her shadow, damage caused by Benedetta herself will increase to 200%.)
Benedetta raises her weapon to defend, gaining Control Immunity and blocking damage from any source for 0.8 seconds. After this, she stabs in the designated direction, dealing 300–450 (+80% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage. If Benedetta successfully fends off any damage while defending, she will gain full Sword Intent. If she fends off any control effects, her subsequent stab stuns the target for 1.5 seconds.
Benedetta clenches Alecto, dashes forward (Benedetta is untargetable during the dash), and performs a slash after a short delay, detonating the Sword Intent along the path. For 2.5 seconds, the Sword Intent deals up to a total of 1560–2080 (+1105% Extra Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies within and slows them by 50%.

7,010g total
Default pick for 1v1 exp-lane pressure and roaming kills.
Battle spell
The 'Flicker combo' — blinking in right as a hook or stun lands, or blinking out the instant an enemy ultimate is cast — is the single most common high-elo outplay moment in the game.
Swap in when needed
Queen's Wings — Against burst dive comps, for the low-HP damage-reduction window.
Wind of Nature — Against physical burst that kills her mid-dash chain.
Immortality — Insurance when over-extending to chase a kill.
Malefic Roar — Against stacked-defense tank comps.
7,020g total
Against a tanky exp-lane matchup where sustained trading wins the lane.
Battle spell
Vengeance rewards being attacked, so it's weakest against burst-and-retreat assassins who land one hit and disengage before the reflect matters.
Swap in when needed
Queen's Wings — Extra effective HP and low-HP damage reduction for extended lane trades.
Wind of Nature — Against a physical duelist she has to out-trade toe to toe, where the lifesteal and the immunity window both apply.
Immortality — Insurance for prolonged 1v1 duels.

Duo partners whose kit completes this one.
Hold Basic Attack to charge Sword Intent before engaging so the Swordout state is already active when the fight starts
Use An Eye for An Eye reactively against a hero's known engage skill, like a hook or stun, rather than on cooldown
Cast Phantom Slash so the shadow lands first — her own dash slash then deals 200% damage on that target — before using Alecto: Final Blow
Disengage with Phantom Slash's dash-back if a fight goes wrong — it works as an escape, not only an engage tool
Benedetta is not beginner-friendly — keeping her passive dash chain alive by consistently landing hits, and timing An Eye for An Eye's parry window, both take real practice.
Swift Boots into Blade of the Heptaseas, Hunter Strike and Endless Battle covers the standard duelist build, shifting toward Haas' Claws for a full-lifesteal build against tankier exp-lane matchups.
Phoveus, Saber and Valentina counter Benedetta hardest — Phoveus's ultimate feeds off her constant dashing, and Saber and Valentina can lock her out of her passive dash chain entirely.
Alecto: Final Blow dashes her forward untargetable, then detonates her stored Sword Intent along the path, dealing heavy physical damage over 2.5 seconds and slowing every enemy caught in it.
