Natan — hero art from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang

Natan

BTier

Magic-damage marksman who fights alongside a Reverse-Clone of himself

MarksmanGold LaneDeals hybrid

Natan is a Gold Lane marksman who deals Magic Damage instead of the usual physical carry output, scaring off characters expecting only auto-attack range. His passive, Theory of Everything, stacks Entanglement every time he or his Reverse-Clone lands a skill, ramping his Attack Speed and Movement Speed the longer he stays in the fight, and Entropy?'s clone can be swapped with at any moment to escape or reset a trade.

Strengths

  • Theory of Everything stacks six times off his own and the Reverse-Clone's skill hits, for 45% extra Attack Speed and Movement Speed
  • Interference! knocks enemies into range and briefly stuns to start a combo
  • Entropy?'s clone-swap refreshes his other skills' cooldowns by 50% on every cast
  • Scales off both Physical Attack and Magic Power, giving flexible itemization paths

Weaknesses

  • No hard CC beyond a 0.1-second stun, so he can't lock down a target alone
  • Reverse-Clone only inherits partial stats and vanishes if Natan wanders too far away
  • Early game is weak before Entanglement stacks and item power come online
  • The clone-swap on Entropy? has its own 12-second cooldown and isn't always available

Skills

Max Superposition first for the burst poke damage, level Interference! second for the utility and cooldown, and take Entropy? at levels 4, 8 and 12.

Passive

Theory of Everything

Buff

Natan gains a stack of Entanglement each time he or his Reverse-Clone hits an enemy with a skill (up to 6 stacks). Each stack lasts 2.5 seconds and grants 7.5% extra Attack Speed and 7.5% Movement Speed.

SummonMobility

Natan summons a Reverse-Clone at a target location 6 units away that lasts 10s, inherits 35% / 37.5% / 40% of his attack attributes (and 35% of Natan's attack effects), and will copy his moves and attacks in reverse. Use Again: Natan switches places with the Reverse-Clone. Cooldown: 12 seconds. Each cast reduces other skills' remaining cooldowns by 50%. The Reverse-Clone will disappear if Natan is too far away.

Entropy can decrease.

Signature combo

Interference! to carry a target along and stun them → Superposition for the burst hit, each landing skill adding an Entanglement stack → basic attacks at the ramped Attack Speed, with the Reverse-Clone mirroring every shot from its own angle.

Purify iconPurify90s CD

Purify does not clear suppression (e.g. Franco's Bloody Hunt or Khufra's ultimate) — a common mistake is trusting it to escape a hook combo it can't actually cleanse.

Playing Natan well

  1. 1

Knock enemies toward your team with Interference! before following up with Superposition for the full combo

  2. 2

Use Entropy?'s Use Again swap defensively to escape burst combos, not just offensively to reposition

  3. 3

Stack Entanglement before a fight by poking with Superposition so the Attack Speed and Movement Speed buffs are active when it starts

  4. 4

Position the Reverse-Clone at a choke point so its reversed movement threatens an angle enemies aren't watching

Natan — common questions

Is Natan good for beginners?

He's moderately difficult — his damage output is straightforward, but managing the Reverse-Clone's position and timing Entropy?'s swap defensively takes real practice, and new players often forget the clone entirely.

What is the best build for Natan?

Swift Boots into Golden Staff, Windtalker, and Berserker's Fury covers the standard hybrid path, since raw Physical Attack still scales his Magic Damage skills at a strong ratio. Switch to Genius Wand and Divine Glaive against stacked magic defense.

Which heroes counter Natan?

Baxia Mark's flat per-instance reduction punishes his multi-hit combo pattern, Saber's Triple Sweep locks him down with no way to escape, and Arlott's stun-into-Vengeance chain kills him before the clone-swap is back.

What emblem should Natan use?

Marksman emblem with Fatal for crit, Weapons Master for scaling stats, and Weakness Finder to punish targets he's already tagged with his combo.
